Technology
is evolving daily and so is Southern's commitment to expanding
access to technology in the classroom. "Smart Classrooms" is
a term applied to all new classrooms equipped with access
to modern computers, projector systems, connectivity for
laptops, and additional resources for electronic instruction
such as VCR's, DVD players, and Elmo paper scanner/projectors.
What follows is a breakdown of campus Smart Classrooms by

Classroom Projection
System
With the ability to project from in-class
Windows and Macintosh computers, as well as student/instructor
laptops and traditional paper or printed materials,
Southern's Smart Classroom projector systems provide
a comprehensive in-class environment for the integration
of advanced technology and advanced instruction. |

Elmo Scan/Overhead Projector
When you need to share materials currently
unavailable on computer-based or digital form it's
good to know that there is another way to project your
presentation materials. For traditional text, paper,
or transparency sources Elmo scanning/overhead projects
are available for immediate sharing of your presentation
materials on in-class projection systems. |
