Periodicals Department
Periodicals Department
 The Periodicals Collection is located on the ground floor and is arranged in alphabetical order by journal title. Current issues of periodicals are found in boxes around the perimeter of the room. Back issues are kept either as bound journals or are available on microfilm or microfiche.

Current newspapers are kept on the shelves next to the Microforms Department door.
Microforms Department
Microforms Department
 The Microforms Department houses two types of materials: microfilm and microfiche. Microfilm is a long continuous piece of film on a round reel; microfiche looks like an index card. Machines are available to view and/or copy materials from film or fiche.

Children's Books & Gov Docs
Children's Books, Oversize books, Thesis Collection, and some older government documents
The Children's Books are located at the far right end of the periodicals room.

Oversize Books with call numbers A-Z are located next to the Children's Books.

Last ten years of the SCSU Thesis Collection.

Older Goverment Documents that are not in the main collection can be found next to the children's books.

 The Electronic Classroom, Buley 017, is moving to Buley 317 during Summer 2004.
