How to VPN into the Southern network from a remote location.
Solution:
Establish a connection to the Internet. Install the Cisco VPN Client onto your computer...more info Open the Cisco VPN client, which should be listed in your Start Menu's Programs folder (All Programs for Windows XP users). The installation configures the application with the settings required to connect to SCSU as shown below. Click Connect. The client will then attempt to connect to the VPN Concentrator, which will allow you access to the network remotely. Once a connect has been established, you will be notified of your group access. Click OK. You are now connected to the network remotely and can access any resources you normally can while working at your desk. Please not that the drives you usually have access to (lsited in My Computer) are not available until you map them.
